Dusan Klenovsek sent in this funny photo of his Green Tree Frog!
The frog in this picture is a Hyla arborea (in slovene language: ZELENA
REGA).
Dusan took the picture during a seminar in Hungary in October 1998.
He found it in the Hungarian plain grasslands. He writes that hhe and his friends wanted to
catch the little frog, but the frog jumped and avoided them.
But one of the friends, Aniko offered her hand and finger in front of the frog - and the little frog was very polite and gave her a little "handshake".
I suspect that this Green Tree frog is probably pretty similar to the American one.
