Frog Of The Month
This Month's Featured Frog is:
Wandanu
Wandanu is a White Lipped Tree Frog. These are the largest of Australian
tree frogs.
Wandanu is one of 10 frogs belonging to Sarah Q.
Wandanu again, seen here with frog pal, Sebastian.
Sarah writes:
My frogs have a whole room to roam around in - they
seem much happier that way - but they tend to hang around the aquariums
anyway. They all get along like old friends.
Wandanu's size tends to scare most people, and she's obsessed with
people's faces. She looks at me when I'm talking and has jumped onto my
face, walked up it and settled on my head many times!
Seb (Sebastian) is a common Green (or White's) Tree Frog. He's just a big green lump with an exceptional personality. He thinks he's a king and I would hate to disappoint him by
telling him he's really just a frog!! (Do you think frogs all have their own
personality?)
You can read more about these types of frogs in the Species Caresheets section.
